Description: This course introduces the principles and application of fluorescence microscopy and imaging. The lecture topics will include the theoretical and experimental aspects of microscopy, spectroscopy, and optics, focusing on fluorescence imaging. The recent advancements in single-molecule microscopy and the scientific knowledge acquired from various studies will also be discussed.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: CHE 360 or CHE 362 with a letter grade of C or better. Not for credit if earned credit in CHE 369
